The Wouxun KG-UV980P is a quad-band transceiver suitable for 28-29 / 50-52 / 144-146 / 430-440 MHz (TX) and a 7-band receiver for 26-30 / 50-54 / 88-108 / 108-180 / 320-350 / 400-480 / 700-985 MHz (RX). This powerful transmitter delivers a maximum of 50 watts on 2 meters (VHF), 40 watts on 70 cm (UHF), and 20 and 10/5 watts on 10 and 6 meters, for maximum range and power on each band.
