The UBAC combat shirt from M-Tac combines high-quality materials, the latest production technologies, and sophisticated functionality.
The body of the shirt is made of flame-resistant knitted Polartec fabric (66% modacrylic, 29% lyocell, 5% span). Modacrylic makes up the majority of this material. Fabrics made with this synthetic fiber are flame-resistant and therefore difficult to ignite. Combined with the other fibers that make up the flame-resistant Polartec fabric, it creates a unique combination of fire and water resistance, softness, and stretch.
The sleeves and collar are sewn from durable American NYCO Extreme fabric by Brookwood (57% nylon, 43% cotton). This lightweight material is approximately 3 times more tear-resistant, 10 times more breathable, and dries faster than regular NYCO fabric.
The designers added mesh inserts under the arms for improved ventilation and moisture management. Vertical pockets with flaps are also placed on the sleeves for storing valuables. Velcro panels are equipped with holes for chemical flashlights and stationary use. Additional pen pockets are located on the left sleeve.
