The silver-impregnated ceramic filter element of the Katadyn Combi provides clear drinking water free of bacteria and protozoa, good for approximately 50,000L. In addition, equipped with activated carbon, it filters out certain chemicals and therefore improves water quality and taste. The water hose is equipped with a pre-filter (to keep out larger contaminants) and a float with which the suction nozzle can be kept at an ideal depth.
