The Katadyn Vario has a dual action pump that allows you to filter your water faster without effort. When the water is cloudy, you can use the ceramic part as a pre-filter and extend the life of the main filter element. The addition of activated carbon ensures the filtering out of certain chemicals and therefore better water quality and taste. The water hose is also equipped with a pre-filter. (for keeping out larger contaminants and particles) This versatile water filter is ideal for camping, trekking and emergency situations. The Vario also fits directly on Klean Kanteen bottles with a wide opening. Filter elements are replaceable.
