AB Skelm Overwrap IRR – Modular headborne camouflage system
The AB Skelm Overwrap IRR is a lightweight, modular headborne camouflage system designed for flexible integration with various head protection systems. The system reduces visual and infrared (IRR) signatures without compromising visibility, freedom of movement, or wearer comfort.
The open IRR mesh structure ensures good airflow, rapid drying, and minimal heat buildup. The lightweight polyester mesh, featuring IRR properties, contributes to signature reduction and complements existing camouflage and protection systems.
A peripheral loop system allows for the attachment of additional camouflage materials, such as vegetation or specific camouflage elements. Integrated Velcro fasteners ensure secure attachment to combat helmets, safety helmets, boonie hats, and other headwear. Details:
