The 3M Peltor™ Combat Arms Earplugs CAE 4.1 (also version 4.1) are high-quality, semi-active hearing protection plugs, specifically designed for military use and comply with the strict requirements of the EN352-2:2002 standard. This version is stocked by the Dutch Army and offers reliable protection in a wide range of operational scenarios – from shooting ranges to military operations.
Thanks to the practical toggle switch, the plugs can be easily switched between two modes, even when wearing gloves:
- Open mode (CAE): Partial noise reduction, allowing conversations and ambient noise to remain audible while simultaneously reducing the volume of gunfire.
- Closed mode (3M): High hearing protection, ideal for continuous noise from vehicles, aircraft, generators, or ships.
The plugs are made of robust, durable materials and are supplied in a convenient plastic box for hygienic storage. Two included polyester cords (neon yellow for training, black for combat use) provide extra comfort.
